2016 Mid-Year Update

Believe it or not, 2016 is half over. Sorry to burst your bubble if you’re like me and you’re convinced we’re still somewhere in March. 🙂 Thus far, it’s been a good year and productive on the writing front. I’m continuing on with my series (although getting deeper into confusion with some of the worldbuilding/backstory), and I started a couple of new WiPs that are moving along slowly.

At this point in the year, it’s helpful to take a look around and see how things are going. If you’ve slacked off on your New Year’s resolutions (which I have), then it’s a good time to reevaluate. Maybe you’ve tried to do too much and feel as though you need to scale back. Or perhaps you didn’t make any resolutions at all. But it’s not too late! You can make a smaller goal for the rest of the year and still get that sense of accomplishment.

  1. It really does still feel like March. It’s so crazy how fast time feels lately. Maybe it’s because I’m getting older and not in high school anymore (those days just dragged on and on). Anyway, goodluck with your writing! 🙂

  2. My resolutions lasted a week. But yes, it’s July already and I cannot believe how quickly time flies.
