- Camp NaNoWriMo update: Mired at 10,844 words. I’m honestly just waiting for the weekend when I will have a good amount of time to write without being distracted by everything else.
- I’m reading The Heart Is a Lonely Hunter by Carson McCullers. It’s hard to believe that she was only 23 when she wrote the book. I’m actually surprised that it’s really good—not because of her age when she wrote it, but because I read The Member of the Wedding and didn’t care for it that much.
- At work, we watched this TED Talk, in which Eduardo Briceño (I have no clue who he is) talked about having a “fixed” versus a “growth” mentality, and it was an eye-opener to realize that you get so stuck in your ways without even realizing it. Self-talk is so important.
Hope everyone is having a good week!
