Every blog is susceptible to spam comments every now and again. Some of them are hilarious. Others make absolutely no sense. And some could almost pass for legitimate comments. This morning, I had 8 spam comments when I checked my blog. One of them was complete gibberish:

Another could have been a real comment, if not for the vague, robotic feel of the sentences.
It’s really a nice and helpful piece of info. I’m glad that you just shared this helpful info with us. Please keep us informed like this. Thanks for sharing.
And another made me laugh.

Naked photos? Nah, I’m not interested.
Then there are those spammers who try to flatter you.
That’s a fantastic post, done well. I believe I would create my personal weblog way too.
But it would flatter me even more if they used English correctly and didn’t leave out words.
The worst is when a legitimate comment somehow finds its way into your spam filter and you accidentally delete it. Then the person who commented thinks you’re ignoring them or you were blowing them off or something. Totally not the case! Or when you’re blogging for the first time and your very first comment seems so legitimate you think it’s a real person, but it’s actually a spammer. Gotta love technology, I suppose…
