Featured website: inreads.com

I just learned about this new site the other day. inReads is headed by Michael Holstein and is dedicated to “social readia.” What that means is that the site brings together books, technology, and culture. Similar to sites like GoodReads, Shelfari, and LibraryThing, inReads allows you to create a database of the books you have read, would like to read, and of course, share your opinions on books with a community. inReads will let you “dog-ear” articles on the site that you like and enable you to share them over Facebook and Twitter. Or you can join a virtual reading group!

The site seems like it’ll be fun and promises a lot of new information about the future of books and reading, so check it out if it’s your thing. 🙂

  1. Thanks, Maggie.
Right now, I’m surrounded with books that have not been consumed . . . yet.

Once I catch up, perhaps I’ll check out some of these sites for good recommendations.
